Department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology deals with medico-legal work like MLC preparation, age estimation, post mortem examination etc. Also this department is committed to teach forensic medicine to, undergraduate students so that they can deal with medico-legal case and various court proceedings easily at any level of their medical carrier. We will also try to conduct various medico- legal workshops for our medical officers, Junior residents and other technical staff. Also workshops could be conducted for trainee judiciary  and police personals whenever required.

Mission

To stress upon importance of medico-legal knowledge and its practice in day to day life professionally as well as personally. To establish FSL in our district and to start with research work related to toxicology and other sub- streams of Forensic Medicine
