GIMS launched a CPR awareness campaign under the IAP CPR Awareness Initiative on the occasion of National CPR Day. Departments of Paediatrics and Anaesthesiology trained nearly 100 schoolteachers from schools in Tilpat, Dankaur, and Sikandrabad on identifying cardiac arrest, activating emergency support, and performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation. In addition, 100 students and 50 paramedical staff at GIMS received practical training in Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR techniques. The sessions were conducted by Dr. Ruchika Bhatnagar, Dr. Sanju Yadav, and Dr. Nazia Nazir, with active participation from postgraduate residents, interns, and nursing students. Director Brigadier Dr. Rakesh Gupta highlighted that timely CPR can significantly improve the chances of survival during sudden cardiac arrest.

GIMS Greater Noida celebrated National Anaesthesia & Operation Theatre Technologist Day 2026 with great enthusiasm under the theme “Innovation in Operation Theatre: Advancing Safe Surgical Care.” The event highlighted the critical role of OT technologists in ensuring safe surgeries, modern technology adoption, and infection control in healthcare settings. Brigadier Dr. Rakesh Gupta, Director of GIMS and chief guest, emphasized that OT technologists are indispensable in modern healthcare, responsible for equipment operation, patient safety, and seamless coordination with surgical teams. The program featured expert talks, student presentations, poster competitions, street plays, and quizzes, all focused on patient safety, innovation, and the evolving landscape of surgical technology.

Under the heartfelt theme “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam”, GIMS Greater Noida celebrated the Vriksharopan Abhiyan from July 12–15, 2026, promoting environmental conservation and green cover expansion. The inaugural ceremony began at 9 AM at the College of Nursing (New Building), with plantation activities scheduled from 7–11 AM across the Hospital Campus and Residential Block. Every participant was encouraged to dedicate a tree in honour of their mother as a symbol of gratitude, care, and commitment toward nature.

An advanced hands-on workshop titled “AI for the Practicing Clinician – From Mystery to Mastery” was successfully conducted on 4 July 2026 at GIMS, Greater Noida, with faculty including Dr. Ayneesh Khare and Dr. Jaideep Rayapudi. The workshop equipped clinicians with skills to create AI assistants, build clinical knowledge tools, generate documentation, accelerate medical research, and analyse data without coding.
