Department of ENT


The Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery is a well established Department with expertise in all of the current subspecialties in Otorhinolaryngology. It provides OPD services to assess hearing and vertigo (Audiometry, ABR, OAE, Impedance, ASSR, hearing aid trial, VnG, VEMP etc.), Nasal disease, Sleep Disorder Assessment (Nasal Endoscopy, Skin prick test, etc), Laryngology (EMG, Speech Assessment and Therapy, FOL, etc), Head-neck Cancer & skull-base lesion (TNE,FOL, NBI, etc). The Department also runs Specialized Clinics (Head and neck cancer, Rhinology and facial plastic, Otology and skull base, Vertigo, Voice and rehabilitation). The Department is performing office based procedures in the field of Otology (examination under microscope, scarless myringoplasty, otoendoscopic examination of middle ear, intratympanic injection therapy, post-operative care), Rhinology (diagnostic nasal endoscopy, NBI, post-operative cavity cleaning), Laryngology (Botox injection for strained voices (spasmodic dysphonia, vocal cord palsy, NBI) Head and Neck cancer (biopsy, NBI, TNE). The Department is well equipped with advanced instruments required for the handling of diseases in the Otorhinolaryngology (CO2 and diode laser, Microdebrider, Nerve monitor, RFA, Microscopes, Endoscopes, etc). The Department also provides all kind of surgical services related to Ear (Tympanoplasty, Mastoid Surgeries, Stapes Surgeries, Ossiculoplasty, Surgeries related to benign & malignant lesion of ear, etc). Nose & Para-Nasal Sinuses (FESS, Septoplasty, Rhinoplasty, Adenoidectomy, DCR, CSF Rhinorrhoea, Optic nerve decompression, surgeries for Benign & Malignant lesion), Skull-Base (Glomus tumour, Angiofibroma, Endoscopic & Open Skull Base Surgeries for anterior & lateral skullbase), Sleep surgeries (modified UPPP, expansion Pharyngoplasty, Tonsillectomy, Epiglottoplasty, etc), laryngology & airway (Endoscopic & Open Airway Surgery, Tracheal Resection anastomosis, Glottis surgery, Laser surgery, etc), Head and Neck cancer surgeries (Maxillectomy, Laryngectomy, Neck dissection, Glossectomy, Thyroidectomies, Mandibulectomy, etc) & reconstructive surgeries (Pinnaplasty, Rhinoplasty, Skin cancer care, Scar revision, Facial palsy rehabilitation, Free flaps etc). The Department has also been playing a prominent role in the Teaching, Academic and Research activities. The teaching courses in the subspecialties of the Otorhinolaryngology are being conducted regularly.

Well trained & experienced faculty members & staff are always ready to tackle any surgical emergency round the clock. A majority of surgical operations are done by minimal invasive technique.     Dr Rahul Kumar Bagla earned his MBBS degree from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi and M.S. (ENT) degree from University College of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. After pursuing senior residency, he joined as ENT specialist in ESIC Model Hospital, Noida. He has recieved fellowship in Rhinoplasty & Facial Plastic Surgery. He joined this prestigious institute as Assistant Professor and presently working as Associate Professor of department.

She has won numerous awards for presentations at state and national conferences. She is also a faculty member at various training workshops for ENT surgeons and audiology professionals.
